Levina Kumar PMHNP-BC is a motivated and talented trilingual board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and her Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatry from the University of South Alabama. She started her career working as a nurse in orthopedics, post-anesthesia care, neurological intensive care, and medical-psychiatric inpatient care. During her experience, she was drawn to working in psychiatry/neurology and believes in empowering clients and providing holistic behavioral care that encompasses harmony within the body and mind.

She provides evidence-based care for a wide range of mental health diagnosis and is skilled in working with a diverse population of clients with co-occurring disorders that include medical, psychiatric, and substance use diagnoses. Ms. Kumar believes in continuous learning and education and continues to advocate against stigma in mental health. She enjoys teaching and has mentored many interns while being active in combating the stigma of mental health in the community."
