About Maria Alvarado

Maria began her educational journey at Durham Tech, where she earned an Associate in Arts degree and obtained her CNA certification. She then transferred to UNC Chapel Hill, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science.

Maria has extensive experience in the medical field, having worked as a float CNA at UNC Hospital. During her time there, she had the opportunity to work in various departments, including the psychiatric units. Currently, she serves as a Medical Assistant and TMS Coordinator, where she manages medication authorizations and TMS treatment. Additionally, Maria administers daily TMS treatments to patients.

Fluent in Spanish, Maria enjoys spending her weekends with family and friends. In her leisure time, she loves watching novelas.
