About Eugene Kwon

Eugene Kwon is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to the practice of psychiatry, with a fervent commitment to patient well-being. Eugene obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California before relocating to Raleigh from Los Angeles.

Eugene served as a Patient Care Coordinator and played a pivotal role as lead Technician across multiple underserved community hospitals, ensuring the delivery of exemplary care. His passion for equitable healthcare is underscored by his belief in treating every patient as he would want a member of his own family treated.

Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in patient care, Eugene pursued further education at Campbell University, graduating with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Practice. He embraces the evolving landscape of psychiatry by engaging in continuous learning, staying abreast of evidence-based practices, and exploring the efficacy of various treatment modalities.

Joining the psychiatry team, Eugene brings with him the core values of compassion, empathy, and a steadfast commitment to quality care. Outside of work, Eugene enjoys spending time with his friends and family, eating Korean cuisine, getting boba and traveling.
