About Erin Burgess

Erin Burgess, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with over ten years of experience in the medical field.   She completed her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and started her career in Raleigh as a High School Science Teacher.  Her passion for health and wellness led her to return to school for her Masters in Health Sciences at Duke University.  Erin has spent a large part of her career in academic institutions in New York City developing her general medicine and psychiatric knowledge base and teaching medical and PA students.  She believes working in medicine and psychiatry is a privilege and finds personal career satisfaction in practicing with integrity and approaching every patient with a deep level of respect.

In her free time, she loves all things related to personal development, especially Jungian psychology, and has recently become a certified Jungian life coach.  Her passion projects are interior design, classical piano, and teaching.
