Saray Lopez is a board-certified physician assistant that is thrilled to start her career in psychiatry. Saray completed her Bachelor of Science in Hispanic Studies at East Carolina University and went on to dedicate four years to educating high school students in Spanish. Witnessing the disparities in medical access within the community during her teaching tenure ignited Saray’s interest in pursuing a career in healthcare. Motivated by this, she enlisted in the Army as a Medical Laboratory Technician, seeking deeper insights into the medical domain.
Following her time serving in the Army, Saray attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina where she obtained her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. Saray is eager to assist patients in navigating their psychological well-being through medication management and psychotherapy.
In her free time, Saray enjoys spending time with her friends, family and cat in the countryside of North Carolina.
