Layne Hartnell is a board-certified physician assistant that is excited to start her career in psychiatry. She specializes in medication management and psychotherapy services. Layne completed her Bachelor of Science in human biology from West Liberty University where she competed in division II women’s soccer. She then went on to complete her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies at West Virginia University. She is passionate about the field of psychiatry and is ready to help patients with their psychological health to become the best version of themself. She will create a safe space for patients to be vulnerable and collaborative to determine the best course of treatment.
Layne enjoys expanding her knowledge by reading and researching new topics regarding new psychiatric advances. She is excited to learn from her colleagues to become a respected, trustworthy, and knowledgeable provider.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and her cat, and exploring new areas.
