Deborah Adams brings valuable experience working in the field of psychiatry, which enhances her contributions to the MD Psychiatry team. She assumes the crucial role of the first point of contact as a part of the administrative team. A native of Raleigh, NC, Deborah has deep roots in the region, having been born and raised in Cary, NC. Throughout her life, she has witnessed remarkable transformations and growth in the area.
Deborah holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology, which she earned from NC State University in 2004. Prior to her time at the university, she pursued her academic journey at Wake Technical Community College, where she completed an Associate in Science degree. Passionate about continuous learning, effective communication, and assisting both individuals and animals, Deborah dedicates herself to these endeavors. During her leisure time, she fulfills the role of a caregiver for her elderly mother and actively volunteers for local animal rescue groups.
