Zuhayr Khan is a dedicated Medical Assistant who plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of MD Psychiatry, providing assistance across both the Cary and Raleigh offices to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Zuhayr received his education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s of science in Psychology. With a perceptive understanding of the human psyche, he has spent the majority of his career working with Psychologists in their research projects, as well as gaining experience in various business models. Zuhayr has had the desire to be in the clinical field since youth and has spent many years shadowing different medical practices as well as volunteering with the American Red Cross, Cary Teen Council and Leadership, and the Town of Morrisville. He will be attending graduate school in the future and is hoping to pursue a career in clinical therapy. 

Additionally, Zuhayr likes to spend his free time as a commission painter specializing in landscapes and realism. As a creatively inclined individual, he also enjoys, playing the guitar, video games, boxing, and listening to music.
